JYPE artists might as well be the busiest idols out there!
On October 25, JYP Entertainment announced that Mr. JYP himself, Park Jinyoung, is gearing up for a comeback and has recently wrapped up MV filming.
JYP has joined the long list of the label’s artists who are planning to return with new music before the end of the year.
Stray Kids released a digital single “Double Knot” on October 9 and are currently preparing for their November comeback and the “District 9: Unlock” world tour. The group will also release their first official light stick on the first day of the tour, that is set to start with a two-day concert in Seoul on November 23.
JYPE’s monster rookies were promoting their latest hit song “ICY” for four weeks back in August and earned themselves a total of 12 music show trophies. Together with the nine wins that the girls got for their debut song “DALLA DALLA”, they now hold a total of 21 music show wins in 2019 and are tied with BTS.
The girls are reportedly planning to make a late November / early December comeback, but that will leave them with not to many opportunities to promote on music shows, as it coincides with their first showcase tour.
Besides preparing for the comeback, ITZY have been busy attending fashion shows and filming CFs for various brands, such as Oreo. The girls will also star in their first reality show soon. The title and the concept of the show have not been announced yet, but we know it will be broadcast on M2, Mnet’s YouTube channel.
TWICE have recently returned with “Feel Special” in Korea and “Fake & True” in Japan, but they still have one more Korean comeback scheduled for December!
However, the girls are far from resting – they have just kicked off the Japanese leg of their “TWICELIGHTS” world tour with the recent concert in Sapporo. The tour will stretch into 2020, and (if we are to believe Nayeon and Momo) there will be Music Bank in Paris some time next year, which TWICE are going to attend.
In between all these activities some members still managed to squeeze in their first solo schedules. Jeongyeon, Tzuyu and Nayeon attended store opening events for three famous fashion brands, and Jeongyeon even sat down for an interview with Marie Claire Korea.
GOT7 are are about to wrap up the 2019 portion of their “KEEP SPINNING” world tour tomorrow, when they will hold a show in Manila. The boys will return with the new album Call My Name on November 4 and promote the title song “You Calling My Name” before resuming the world tour in 2020. You can find all the info about the new album here.
So, JYP Nations stans, which comeback are you looking forward to most?
