On January 14, JYPE issued a statement announcing that they will be taking strong legal action against individuals who have obtained and spread Stray Kids’ members’ private information.

Read the full statement below:

Hello, this is JYPE.

Recently, there have been many instances of fans invading Stray Kids’ members’ privacy and circulating their personal information.

The information was used to constantly contact the members and send spam messages, causing great distress to the members.

Such behavior is illegal and against the Personal Information Protection Act, and we will proceed with legal measures if such behavior continues. We hope that everyone stops spreading the members’ personal information and respects their privacy.

In addition, the complaint has been filed against the individuals who have been spreading rumors about Stray Kids, which we reported last week.

We would like to thank you for reporting such behavior to us and we would like to reassure you that we will always respond by taking legal action in order to protect our artists.

We will continue doing our best to protect our artists.

Thank you.
