Hello, this is JYPE.
False and groundless rumors about our artists are being spread in various online communities and on a certain social media channel.
We are aware that these rumors can severely damage the image, honor, and character of our artists and we will take all legal measures possible against the individual who initially posted the rumors and those who circulated them. We will take strong action without any leniency.
We can file legal complaints and reports immediately, and criminal punishment can be given for creating and spreading malicious rumors about artists as crimes of defamation and personal attack.
We have collected the evidence regarding this matter and are confirming measures to take immediate action.
We are monitoring online communities in real time, but we also ask fans to send in reports of evidence collected for action to be taken against the individual who initially posted the rumors and those who circulated them. You can do so by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
By taking all measures for the protection of our artists’ rights and interests, we will make sure to protect Stray Kids as well as their fans.
