At the end of October it was reported that Mamamoo will be releasing their first ever virtual reality album, and now we finally have some more information.
The album is actually marketed as a VP, which stands for virtual play. VP is a virtual, realistic music service provided by Genie Music through cutting-edge technologies such as VR (virtual reality), AR (augmented reality), and holograms.
The album is set to be released on December 19 and the pre-orders start today (Dec. 10). If you want to experience Mamamoo in 3D and 8k resolution, you will have to pay ₩55 000 (~$47). For that price you will be able to enjoy live performances of “gogobebe”, “Egotistic”, “Words Don’t Come Easy”, “Decalcomanie” and “Better Than I Thought”.
