UPDATE (January 9)
The tracklist for (PURPOSE) has been revealed! Taeyeon’s new songs are:
“Dear Me” is expected to be the title track, and Taeyeon even teased the release of this song in her interview with Allure Korea a couple of weeks ago. The song represents a message to herself:
It’s about looking at yourself in a more positive light and loving yourself. It’s a healing song that pats people on the back. If I have to say it [a message to myself] in words, I want it to be words that can give me confidence.
Sounds like another tearjerker by Queen Taeng, but we can’t wait! The album and the music video will be out on January 15 at 6 pm KST.

It has been confirmed that Taeyeon will be making a comeback with the repackage of her second LP, also titled Purpose, on January 15.
In addition to the previously released twelve tracks, the album will feature three new songs, which are reportedly going to be included in the setlist of Taeyeon’s upcoming concerts.
Taeyeon’s second album Purpose repackage is available to preorder starting today.
On January 8 at midnight, a surprise timer appeared on Taeyeon’s official website, announcing her comeback with the repackage album (PURPOSE) on January 15 at 6 pm KST.
Girls’ Generation’s leader last released her eponymous second full-length album – with the lead single “Spark” – in late October, which was a huge hit both domestically and internationally, followed by the OST for Frozen 2.
