The album features a total of 12 tracks, including the previously released “Four Seasons” and “Blue”, so there are ten new songs to enjoy! Check the link for more information on where to purchase Purpose.
Taeyeon has already achieved a real-time all-kill on Korean charts with “Spark”!
Also, her new album is No. 1 on iTunes in 13 countries, and No. 3 in the United States (as of 9 pm KST) – making Taeyeon the first K-pop female soloist to enter top 5 on U.S. iTunes.
Purpose has sold over 90,000 copies on Hanteo so far, which is a new record for the highest first-day sales by a female artist! Taeyeon thus surpassed BLACKPINK’s Kill This Love, that sold 78,275 copies on its first day.

…and many of her friends and colleagues have shared their excitement on social media. These include Taeyeon’s fellow Girls’ Generation members, her Red Velvet hoobaes, Heize, Wonder Girls’ Yubin, Paul Kim, and more! Check out some their posts below.
