It’s official – TWICE sold more than 154,000 Feel Special album units during the first week of sales.
On September 30 at midnight KST, Hanteo Charts computed the cumulative sales and released the following information:
TWICE broke their own record (again) and are currently occupying 9 out of top 12 spots on the list of girl groups’ first week album sales!
TWICE are known as a girl group that keep breaking records with each new comeback and their sales are on par with those of leading boy groups.
Moments ago, Hanteo chart confirmed that TWICE’s most recent album, Feel Special, surpassed the number of 151,269 album units sold in total so far (as of September 29 at 4 pm KST).
This makes it the highest first week album sales for a K-pop girl group. With Feel Special sales, TWICE actually broke their own record; their previous album Fancy You held the top spot with more than 151,000 units sold in the first week.
Blackpink’s Kill This Love currently holds third place with more than 146,000 first week sales, and IZ*ONE’s HEART*IZ comes in fourth with around 132,100 units sold.
