Since November of last year, TWICE have been dealing with the German stalker who first targeted Nayeon and even tried reaching her during the group’s flight back to Korea. Even though JYP Entertainment took all possible legal measures to protect the members, the stalker now managed to leak Chaeyoung’s phone number via his social media accounts.
In an unexpected turn of events, Chaeyoung herself promptly responded by posting a photo of a strawberry (as TWICE’s “Strawberry Princess”) with a long caption on the group’s official Instagram in which she stated that his behavior is “something to be ashamed of”.

I think there’s a limit to how long one should stay put without saying anything and hoping it will all calmly go away.
Although those 11 digits aren’t anything special, the moment it was leaked on the Internet my phone blew up with calls and messages and I went through all kinds of unnecessary trouble and hardship. The problem is that this doesn’t affect only me, but also my precious members and other idols from our company.
I ask of you to think at least once about how much struggle, hardships and anxiety people are going through before you recklessly contact [them] while masking it as your care or love [for them].
Please don’t insult our fans who sincerely care and support us with your fake interest.
I’m not someone who is easily shaken up by these issues and I’m not writing this because I am angry. I just want you to acknowledge your wrong behaviour and realize that it is something to be ashamed of.
